TOWN OF BEAVERLODGE 2026 Property Tax Bylaw No. 1041 A BYLAW TO AUTHORIZE THE RATES OF TAXATION TO BE LEVIED AGAINST ASSESSABLE PROPERTY WITHIN THE TOWN OF BEAVERLODGE FOR THE 2026 TAXATION YEAR Whereas, the Town of Beaveriodge has prepared and adopted detailed estimates of the municipal revenues and expenditures as required, at the council meeting held on April 19.2026:and Whereas, the estimated municipal revenues from all sources other than property taxation total $3.841.385 and: Whereas, the estimated municipal expenses (excluding non-cash items) set out in the annual budget for the Town of Beaveriodge for 2026 total 18,732,502 and the balance of $4,891.118 is to be raised by generol municipal property taxation; and Whereas, the requisitions are: Alberfa School Foundation Fund (ASFF) Residential/Farm land Non-residential Grande Prairie RCSSD Residential/Farm land Non-residential $619.915 $262,009 $94.276 $16.273 Designated Industrial Property Grande Spirit Foundafion $337 $33,977 Whereas, the Council is authorized to sub-classify assessed property, and to establish different rates of taxation in respect to each sub-class of property, subject to the Municipal Government Act. Chapter M-26, Revised Statutes of Alberta, 2000; and Whereas, the assessed value of all property in the Town of Beaverlodge as shown on the assessment roll is: Assessment Residential Non-residential Farmland Linear (Non-residential) Machineryand Equipment Totol Assessment $256,033,330 $62,998,970 $56,340 $4,794,790 ,$533,930 $324,417,360 1..i NOW THEREFORE under the authority of fhe Municipal Government Act, the Council of the Town of Beaverlodge, in the Province of Alberta, enacts as follows: 1. That the Chief Administrative Officer is hereby authorized to levy the following rates of taxation on the assessed value of all property as shown on the assessment roll of the Town of Beaverlodge: 2. The minimum amount payable per parcel as property tax for general municipal purposes shall be $250.00. 3. This bylaw comes into force at the beginning of the day that it is passed unless otherwise provided for in the MGA or another enactment or in the bylaw. This bylaw is passed when it receives third reading, and it is signed in accordance withS.213oftheMGA. Read a first time on this 1 llh day of May,2026.
