CLOSING OF PUBLIC TRAVEL
Bylaw to Replace Bylaw 99-03 (Road Closure Administrative Update)
A BYLAW OF THE VILLAGE OF BEISEKER IN THE PROVINCE OF ALBERTA
TO REPEAL AND REPLACE BYLAW 99-03 FOR THE PURPOSE OF
ADMINISTRATIVE CLARITY AND RECORD MODERNIZATION.
WHEREAS The Village of Beiseker passed Bylaw 99-03 in 1999 to close a portion of
roadway described in Schedule "A";
AND WHEREAS Bylaw 99-03 received Ministerial approval and was validly enacted in
accordance with Section 22 of the Municipal Government Act in force at that time;
AND WHEREAS The road closure authorized by Bylaw 99-03 is complete, legally
effective, and remains in force;
AND WHEREAS Bylaw 99-03 contains outdated legislative references, clerical errors,
and formatting inconsistent with modern municipal standards;
AND WHEREAS Council wishes to repeal Bylaw 99-03 and replace it with a
modernized bylaw that preserves the original intent and legal effect while improving
clarity and archival quality.
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Village of Beiseker, duly assembled, enacts as
follows:
SECTION 1
Title
1.1
This Bylaw may be cited as "99-03 - Closing of Public Travel (Administrative
Update 2026)".
SECTION 2 Confirmation of Road Closure
2.1
The road closure described in Schedule "A" was validly completed under Bylaw
99-03. Nothing in this Bylaw creates a new road closure or alters the legal effect
of the original closure.
SECTION 3 Replacement of Bylaw 99-03
3.1
Bylaw 99-03 is hereby repealed and replaced with this Bylaw for administrative
clarity only.
SECTION 4 Schedule
4.1
Schedule "A" forms part of this Bylaw.
SECTION 5 Effective Date
5.1
This Bylaw comes into force upon third reading.

That portion of the unnamed road in the NW 1/4 12-28-26-W4M lying west of the
production southwesterly of the northwest boundary of Block "C", Plan 5968A.W.,
excepting thereout all mines and minerals.
