The purpose of this bylaw is to authorize the rate of taxation to be levied against assessable property within the Summer Village of Bonnyville Beach for the 2026 taxation year.

## 2026 Taxes: Combined Assessment and Tax Notice
Taxes are due on **June 30, 2026**.
There are several ways to pay your taxes. Pay the full amount to the Summer Village of Bonnyville Beach on or before June 30th. The full amount can be mailed to the Summer Village, or dropped off in the mail slot at the Village Office. You can pay taxes using e-transfer or direct bill payee. Always include your Tax Roll number, your name and the name of the payment (i.e. tax payment June 2026).
The full amount can be e-transferred to the Summer Village - no password required, submit e-transfers using Summer Village of Bonnyville Beach: [email protected]
Electronic direct payment should be available at your institution if you add the Summer Village of Bonnyville Beach as a direct bill payee. Please ensure that electronic payments arrive by the due date of June 30th. It is your responsibility to pay your taxes in full regardless of the payment method.

* **Education Taxes** (50-60% of your bill) are mandated by the province.
* **Essential Services** like streetlights, waste management, and fire services make up ~35% of costs.
* **Other Expenses**: Assessments, accounting, insurance, lake preservation (Moose Lake Watershed Society), and maintenance.

* **Emergency Reserve**: Prepared for unforeseen events.
* **Personnel**: While no full-time staff, we still compensate those who help keep the Village running.
