BY-LAW NO. 1575
A By-law of Camrose County in the Province of Alberta
introduced for the purpose of establishing fees, rates, and
charges for services provided by the municipality pursuant to
Municipal Government Act, Chapter M-26.1, 2000 or as
amended thereto;
WHEREAS
Pursuant to section 7 of the Municipal Government Act,
R.S.A. 2000, Chapter M-26, a Council may pass bylaws for
municipal purposes respecting the following matters:
a. people, activities and things in, on or near a public
place or place that is open to the public; and
b. services provided by or on behalf of the municipality.
WHEREAS
Camrose County deems it expedient to set and review, as
necessary from time to time, various fees of the County
NOW THEREFORE
The Council of Camrose County in the Province of Alberta,
duly assembled enacts and adopts as follows:
1. Fees and charges be established for the provision of such
administrative services on a user pay basis in accordance with
Schedule "A" attached hereto.
2. That payment of all fees and charges must be received prior to the
information/services being developed and provided.
3. The County Administrator has the authority to reduce or waive the
imposition of any of the charges set out above for reasons that
reasonably qualify as an emergency or of a humanitarian nature.
4. That By-law 1575 shall come into force and effect on January 1,
2026 and By-law 1563 is hereby rescinded upon this By-law coming
into effect.

One (1) Cemetery Plot can accommodate one standard casket plus up to four (4) urns
containing cremated remains.
The County Administrator has the authority to reduce or waive the imposition of any of
the charges set out above for reasons that reasonably qualify as an emergency or of a
humanitarian nature.
COLLECTION OF RECEIVABLES
A penalty charge of one and one half percent (1½%) per month on the total amount
remaining on unpaid Receivables, including utility accounts, after the due date, shall be
added at the close of business on the due date, as per Policy 6.03 and By-law 712.
ENFORCEMENT OF PAYMENT
A $50.00 administration surcharge shall be levied on all enforcement accounts, including
transferring utility account balances to the taxroll.
