<!-- image --> ## VILLAGE OF CHAMPION CHAMPION, ALBERTA BYLAW 2025-001 A bylaw of the Village of Champion in the Province of Alberta to provide for (enter the general purpose), pursuant to the provisions of the Municipal Government Act (MGA), Chapter M-26, (enter sections applicable). (Utility Services Amendment Bylaw) Bylaw WHEREAS The Council of the Village of Champion have deemed it expedient to establish a bylaw amend Bylaw 2021-006 Utility Services Bylaw; AND WHEREAS Section 63 of the Municipal Government Act, RSA 2000 and amendments thereto, allows a Council, by bylaw, to authorize the revision of all or any of the bylaws of the municipality; NOW, THEREFORE, The Council of the Village of Champion, duly assembled, hereby enact as follows: ## 1.0 CITATION OF BYLAW - 1.1 This bylaw may be cited as the "(Utility Services Amendment Bylaw)" ## 2.0 GENERAL - 2.1 Bylaw 2025-002 - Schedule A which establishes the service charges and fees shall be amended as follows: - a) Rates are effective January 1, 2025 - b) Water charges per cubic meter; - c) Connection to village services; - d) Fees for water tests; - e) Service Fee for non-village residents; - f) Connection/ Disconnection fines &amp; penalties. <!-- image --> - 2.2 Schedule "A" of the Utility Services Bylaw #2021-006 will be amended to reference Bylaw 2025-001 Schedule A General Fees and Charges. - 2.3 This Bylaw shall come into effect upon Third and Final Reading. - 2.4 That Bylaw 2025-001 rescinds Bylaw 2024-003 and 2017-008.
