COUNTY OF TWO HILLS NO. 21
IN THE PROVINCE OF ALBERTA
BYLAW NO. 06-2022
A BYLAW OF THE COUNTY OF TWO HILLS NO. 21, IN THE
PROVINCE OF ALBERTA FOR THE PURPOSE OF CLOSING TO
PUBLIC TRAVEL AND CREATING TITLE TO AND DISPOSING OF
PORTIONS OF A PUBLIC HIGHWAY IN ACCORDANCE WITH
SECTIONS 22 AND 70 OF THE MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT ACT,
CHAPTER M26.1, REVISED STATUES OF ALBERTA 2000, AS
AMENDED WITHIN THE BOUNDARIES OF THE COUNTY OF TWO
HILLS.
WHEREAS, the lands described hereafter are no longer required for public
travel, and
WHEREAS the Municipal Government Act R.S.A. 2000, Chapter M26 as
amended, allows a municipality to close a road and dispose of such lands, and
WHEREAS the Council of the County of Two Hills No. 21 deems it
expedient to provide for a bylaw for the purpose of closing to public travel certain
roads and lanes or portions thereof, situated in the municipality and disposing of
the same,
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved, that the Council of Two Hills No. 21,
in the Province of Alberta, duly assembled, does hereby enact the following:
To close to public travel for the purpose of creating title to and disposing of the
following described as:
1. All that portion of Road Plan 2600HW in W ½ 13-54-9 W4.
This Bylaw shall come into force and effect upon passing thereof.
MOVED BY COUNCIL - That Bylaw No. 06-2022 be given first reading
this 20th day of April, 2022.
