BYLAW 564 - 2020
UTILITY BYLAW
BEING A BY-LAW OF THE VILLAGE OF CZAR IN THE PROVINCE OF ALBERTA AUTHORIZING BILLING FOR
LANDFILL AND SEWER COMMENCING MAY 13, 2020
WHEREAS, the Council of the Village of Czar, duly assembles, enacts as follows:
SHORT TITLE
1.
This bylaw may be cited as the "UTILITY BYLAW"
RATES
2.
All Landfill
$8.00 per month per property owned
All Sewer
$15.00 per month per property owned and attached to
the sewage system
All properties to pay the same rate, with no discrepancy per type and usage.
BILLING
4.
That a utility bill showing the current service charges to the user shall be mailed to the user
every 3 months.

That the unpaid service charges shall be a lien upon the property and subject to the same
penalties and collectible in the same manner as taxes
Bylaw 493 is repealed at the passing of this bylaw
This bylaw shall become effective upon third and final reading.
READ a first time this 13th day of May 2020.
READ a second time this 13th day of May 2020.
READ a third time and finally passed this 13th day of May 2020
