## Village of Delia - Province of Alberta
By-Law #660-2022 - Land Use Bylaw 632-2018 Amendment
Being a bylaw of the Village of Delia, Alberta to provide for the amendment of Land Use Bylaw 6322018.
WHEREAS pursuant to the provisions of Section 639 ofthe Municipal Government Act, Chapter M-26, Revised Statutes of Alberta, 2000 asamended, The Council of the Village of Delia has adopted the Land Use Bylaw 632-2018;
WHEREAS The Council deems it desirable to amend Land Use Bylaw 632-2018; and
A: NOW THEREFORE the Council hereby amends Land Use Bylaw 632-2018 as follows:
Part I - Purposes and Definitions Section 2 - Definitions - In this bylaw (page 4)
## addition of
"Emergency shelter" means a development operated by the government or another organization for the primary purpose of providing a temporary, emergency accommodation for persons requiring immediate shelter and assistance. This use may include, but not restricted to, accessory office functions and the provision of related programs and services. Typical uses include a women's shelter and youth emergency shelter. This will not be a safe injection site. The possession, use, distribution, or dispensing of alcohol or illicit drugs is not permitted.
Part VI - Land Used Districts Section 7. C-1 Central Commercial District
Sub section 1) Purpose (page 30)
