## BYLAW NO. 2025/05/D  ## Amendments to Municipal Development Plan 2025/06/D (Map Future Land Use) WHEREAS Council deems it necessary to amend the future land use map of Drayton Valley Municipal Development Plan 2024/02/D. AND WHEREAS the Municipal Government Act, R.S.A.,2000, c.M-26 as amended or repealed and replaced from time to time, provides that a municipality has the power to amend the Municipal Development Plan Bylaw. AND WHEREAS Council deems it necessary to amend the Municipal Development Bylaw 2024/02/D to amend the future land use map for parcels SE-19-49-7-W5 from Industrial to New Residential and NE-15-49-7-W5 from Urban Reserve to New Residential. NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Town of Drayton Valley, duly assembled, hereby enacts as follows: ## TITLE - This Bylaw may be cited as the "Amendments to Municipal Development Plan 2025/06/D (Map Future Land Use)" of the Town of Drayton Valley. ## PURPOSE 2. The purpose of this Bylaw is to amend the Future Land Use Map of the Municipal Development Plan ## INTERPRETATION 4. When a word is used in the masculine or feminine it will refer to either gender. 3. Words used in the singular include the plural and vice-versa. 5. Words used in the present tense include the other tenses and derivative forms. ## SEVERABILITY 6. If any provision of this Bylaw is held be invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that decision will not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of the Bylaw. AND THAT this Bylaw shall come into force and have effect from and after the date of third reading thereof. Read a first time this 30 day of July, 2025, A. D.
