BYLAW NO. 1103/LUO/2025
A BYLAW FOR THE TOWN OF FAIRVIEW IN THE PROVINCE OF ALBERTA,
FOR THE PURPOSE OF AMENDING THE TOWN OF FAIRVIEW LAND USE BYLAW - REZONING
Whereas,
the Town of Fairview has adopted Land Use Bylaw No. 1064/LUO/2021; and
Whereas,
pursuant to the Province of Alberta Municipal Government Act, being the Revised Statues
of Alberta 2000, as amended, a Council may amend a Land Use Bylaw; and
Whereas,
the Council of the Town of Fairview, in the Province of Alberta, deems it desirable to
amend the Town of Fairview Land Use Bylaw; and
Whereas,
the said amendment will rezone the land from Highway Commercial (C-3) to Transitional
Residential - Commercial (RC-T).
NOW THEREFORE,
pursuant to Sections 606 and 692 of the Municipal Government Act, the Council of the
Town of Fairview, in the Province of Alberta, duly assembled, enacts:
1.
Title
1.1.
This bylaw shall be cited as "Land Use Amendment Bylaw 1103LUO2025".
2.
Amendments
1.2.
The land legally known as Lots 04N 1/2 and 04S 1/2 Block 01 Plan 2159 EO as shown on Schedule
"A" be rezoned from Highway Commercial (C-3) to Transitional Residential - Commercial (RC-T).
3.
Severability
1.3.
If any portion of this Bylaw is declared invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, then the invalid
portion shall be severed.
4.
Effective Date
1.4.
This Bylaw shall come into force and effect upon third and final reading and is duly signed.

1. That the following property,
Lots 04N 1/2 and 04S 1/2 Block 01 Plan 2159 EO as shown on Schedule "A" be rezoned from Highway
Commercial (C-3) to Transitional Residential - Commercial (RC-T).
