## BY-LAW 1776 ## OF THE TOWN OF FORT MACLEOD Being a By-Law of the Town of Fort Macleod for the regulation and licensing of Buskers. WHEREAS, the Municipal Government Act, chapter M26 RSA 2000, as amended, provides a Council may pass by-laws for the regulation and controlling of busking. NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Town of Fort Macleod, duly assembled, enacts as follows: This By-Law shall be known as the "Busking Bylaw". Definitions: a. "Busking" means any person who participates as a street performer for the purposes of accepting voluntary monetary donations from persons observing the performance. b. "Town Manager" means the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) of the Town of Fort Busking: с. "Peace Officer" means any appointed Bylaw Officer, Community Peace Officer, or member of the Police Service of Jurisdiction. d. "Permit" means a permit issued to a Busker or Community Group/Organization which details the locations the a or alre a tied Corporate Limits. i.
