## BYLAW NO. 1826
OF THE TOWN OF FORT MACLEOD
IN THE PROVINCE OF ALBERTA
Being Byla of thi oNe one a Ded in the province of Alberta,
WHEREAS, the provisions of Section 632(2) of the Municipal Government Act, RSA 2000, Chapter M- 26 permits a Council of a municipality with a population of less than 3,500 to adopt a Municipal Development Plan;
AND WHEREAS, the purpose of a Municipal Development Plan is to provide a comprehensive long- range land use plan pursuant to the provisions of Section 632(3) of the Municipal Government Act; AND WHEREAS, Council deems it necessary to adopt a new Municipal Development Plan;
AND WHEREAS a Public Hearing, as required by Section 692 of the Municipal Government Act, will be held prior to second reading of this bylaw. NOW, THEREFORE, THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF FORT MACLEOD, IN THE PROVINCE OF ALBERTA, DULY ASSEMBLED, ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. This Bylaw shall be cited as the "Municipal Development Plan Bylaw".
2. Bylaw No. 1826, being the new Municipal Development Plan Bylaw, is hereby adopted.
3. Bylaw No. 1745, being the former Municipal Development Plan Bylaw, is hereby repealed.
4. This Bylaw shall come into full force and effect upon receiving third and final reading.
