## THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF FOX CREEK, ALBERTA
## BYLAW NO. 834 - 2020
## FEES & RATES BYLAW - ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES
Being a bylaw of the Town of Fox Creek, in the Province of Alberta for the establishment of Fees and Rates for goods and services provided by or on behalf of the municipality.
WHEREAS, the Municipal Government Act, Chapter M-26, Revised Statues of Alberta, 2000 provides that Council may pass bylaws for municipal purposes respecting the safety, health and welfare of people, services provided by or on behalf of the municipality and the enforcement of bylaws;
AND WHEREAS, the Council of the Town of Fox Creek deems it necessary to establish fees and rates for administrative services;
NOW THEREFORE the Town of Fox Creek, in Council duly assembled, enacts as follows:
1. Bylaw Title
2. 1.1. This Bylaw may be cited as the "Fees & Rates Bylaw - Administrative Services"
2. Definitions
4. 2.1. "Act" means the Municipal Government Act, RSA 2000, c.M-26;
5. 2.2. "Chief Administrative Officer" means the chief administrative officer of the Town;
6. 2.3. "Mayor" meant the chief elected official of the Town;
7. 2.4. "Municipal Services" means the annual rates, fees, tolls and charges for various goods, licenses, permits and services provided by the Town:
8. 2.5. "Town" means the municipal corporation of the Town of Fox Creek.
3. Fees & Rates
10. 3.1. Fees & Rates for municipal services for Administrative Services shall be levied according to "Schedule A" which comprises this Bylaw.
4. Severability
12. 4.1. Every provision of this Bylaw is independent of all other provisions and it is the intention of the Council that if any provision of this Bylaw is declared invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, all other provisions of this Bylaw shall remain valid and enforceable.
5. Effective Date
14. 5.1. This Bylaw shall come into force upon final passing thereof.
