<!-- image --> ## THE CORPORTION OF THE TOWN OF FOX CREEK, ALBERTA ## BYLAW NO. 805 - 2018 CAMPGROUND BYLAW Being a bylaw of the town of Fox Creek, in the Province of Alberta to establish rules, regulations and fees for the operation of all Fox Creek Campgrounds. WHEREAS Council of the Town of Fox Creek, in the Province of Alberta, under the authority of the Municipal Government Act, being Chapter M-26 of the statutes of Alberta and amendments thereto may pass by-laws for the purpose of regulating and operating a municipal campground within the Town of Fox Creek. NOW THEREFORE, the Municipal Council of the Town of Fox Creek duly assembled enacts as follows: 1. The Town Chief Administrative Officer of the Town of Fox Creek shall be responsible for the management of the Fox Creek campgrounds in accordance with this Bylaw and the regulations regarding the campgrounds operations as established by the Council of the Town of Fox Creek and by the Government of Alberta (for losegun Lake and Smoke Lake). 2. Regulations for the operation of the Fox Creek Campgrounds are hereby adopted as outlined on Appendix "A" attached to this Bylaw. The Council of the Town of Fox Creek may amend these regulations by resolution when it is deemed appropriate by the Council, without the need to repeal or amend this Bylaw 3. The Bylaw Enforcement Officer, for the Town of Fox Creek or a Peace Officer may enforce this Bylaw by such measures as deemed necessary to ensure the Bylaw is complied with, including the issuance of tickets or eviction from the campground as outlined herein. 4. The Bylaw Enforcement Officer, authorized by the Town Chief Administrative Officer, or a Peace Officer may evict an individual or group of individuals from the Fox Creek Campgrounds if those individuals are creating a nuisance, or in breach of this Bylaw or its regulations, or if they are interfering with the quiet enjoyment of other campers. 5. (a) Any person contravening any provision of this Bylaw shall be liable upon conviction therefore to a fine of not less than $500 and not more than $1,000 exclusive of costs, in case of non-payment of the fine and plus costs so imposed; and (b) Where the offence is non-payment of any camping fees as established by the regulation, the payment of the camping fee shall be in addition to the fines and penalties imposed. Fines and penalties are as defined in Bylaw No. 800 - 2017, the "Fees and Charges Bylaw." This Bylaw shall come into force upon final passing thereof and upon taking effect, Bylaw 729 - 2013 is repealed. FIRST READING of Bylaw No. 805-2018 granted this 26 day of February, 2018.
