## BYLAW NO. 07-2024
## TOWN OF HIGH PRAIRIE
## PROVINCE OF ALBERTA
BEING A BYLAW OF THE TOWN OF HIGH PRAIRIE OF THE PROVINCE OF ALBERTA TO ESTABLISH AN INTERMUNICIPAL SUBDIVISION AND DEVELOPMENT APPEAL BOARD FOR BIG LAKES COUNTY, THE TOWN OF HIGH PRAIRIE, THE TOWN OF SLAVE LAKE AND THE TOWN OF SWAN HILLS
WHEREAS Section 627 of the Municipal Government Act authorizes a municipality to enter into an agreement with one or more municipalities to establish an intermunicipal subdivision and development appeal board;
AND WHEREAS the Council of the Town of High Prairie deems it beneficial to establish an intermunicipal subdivision and development appeal board to hear subdivision and development appeals;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Town of High Prairie hereby enacts as follows:
1. This Bylaw may be cited as the "Slake Lake Regional Subdivision and Development Appeal Board Bylaw".
2. The Town of Slave Lake High Prairie is hereby authorized to enter into an agreement between Big Lakes County, the Town of High Prairie, the Town of Swan Hills and the Municipal District of Lesser Slave River (the "Municipalities") to provide for the following:
3. (a) the hearing of subdivision appeals and development appeals arising within the boundaries of the Municipalities;
4. (b) the procedure and conduct of the Slave Lake Regional Subdivision and Development Appeal Board and its members; and
5. (c) the functions and duties of the Slave Lake Regional Subdivision and Development Appeal Board.
3. The position of Clerk is established for the purpose of carrying out the powers, duties and

functions of the clerk in accordance with the Municipal Government Act and the Slave Lake Regional Subdivision and Development Appeal Board agreement.
4. Bylaw No. 07-2020 is repealed and replaced.
5. This Bylaw becomes effective on the date it is signed and passed.
