## Bylaw No. 18-2018
A BYLAW OF THE TOWN OF HIGH PRAIRIE, IN THE PROVINCE OF ALBERTA, TO ESTABLISH THE SUBDIVISION AUTHORITY OF THE TOWN OF HIGH PRAIRE AND AUTHORIZE THE DELEGATION OF SUBDIVISION AUTHORITY FOR THE TOWN OF HIGH PRAIRIE TO THE MACKENZIE MUNICIPAL SERVICES AGENCY
| WHEREAS | Section 623 of the Municipal Government Act, S.A. 2000, as amended (the Act") requires that a Municipal Council must by bylaw provide for a subdivision authority to exercise subdivision powers and duties ol behalf of the municipality |

| WHEREAS | Section 625 of the Municipal Government Act, S.A. 2000, as amended ("the Act") allows a municipality to delegate its subdivision authority powers, duties and functions to an inter-municipal service agency, and |
| WHEREAS | The Town of High Prairie Council considers it beneficial to delegate the subdivision authority, |
| NOW THEREFORE, | The Council of the Town of High Prairie, in the Province of Alberta, duly assembled hereby enacts as follows: that the subdivision authority, including accepting, processing, decisions and endorsement of applications for subdivision, be delegated to the Mackenzie Municipal Services Agency. 2. this Bylaw shall come into effect on the date of the third and final reading of this Bylaw. |
