SUMMER VILLAGE OF HORSESHOE BAY PROVINCE OF ALBERTA BY-LAW NO. 80/2007 A Bylaw of the Summer Village of Horseshoe Bay in the Province of Alberta, to Authorize the Recovery of Fire Protection Service Fees. UNDER THE AUTHORITY and pursuant to the provisions of the Municipal Government Act RSA 2000, Chapter M-26, with amendments thereto and reference to Section 553, Subsection 1(g) and 2, THE COUNCIL of the Summer Village of Horseshoe Bay, duly assembled, enacts as follows: That any costs incurred with respect to extinguishing fires and preserving life or property from injury or destruction by fire on land within the Summer Village be chargeable to the registered owner of the land. After sixty (60) days, any unpaid costs and expenses will be added to the tax roll of said parcel of land and will be deemed for all purposes to be taxes due and owing under Division 2 of Part 10 of the Municipal Government Act RSA 2000, Chapter M-26, from the date it was added to the tax roll. This bylaw shall come into force and effect on the final day of passing thereof. Read a first time in Council this 30th day of June, A.D. 2007.
