SUMMER VILLAGE OF HORSESHOE BAY
PROVINCE OF ALBERTA
BY-LAW NO. 22/1988
A By-law of the Summer Village of Horseshoe Bay, in the Province of
Alberta, to Regulate Highway Traffic Within the Summer Village.
PURSUANT TO the authority vested in it by the provision of the Highway Traffic
Act, R.S.A. 1980, and amendments thereto, the Council of the Summer Village of
Horseshoe Bay duly assembled, hereby enacts as follows:
Traffic Control Devices
a)
That the Council of the Summer Village of Horseshoe Bay authorize to
place, erect, or mark traffic control devices at such locations as they
determine to set apart as a through street any highway or part of a
highway and to control entry to any highway by means of a "Stop" sign
or "Yield" sign.
Parking
a)
No person shall park or leave any vehicle on private land or property
that has been clearly marked as such by a sign or signs erected by the
owner or his agent, unless such a person has obtained the permission
of the owner, tenant, occupant or person in charge or control of said
land or property.
Authority to Enforce
a)
A peace officer , or other persons as may be authorized by the Council
of the Summer Village of Horseshoe Bay shall be empowered to
remove or cause to be removed, any vehicle or trailer.
b)
Any expense of the removal will be charged to the registered owner of
the vehicle or trailer.
This by-law shall come into force on the date of the third and final reading.

Read a third time and final time this 6th day of October, 1988.
