## VILLAGE OF HUGHENDEN PROVINCE OF ALBERTA BYLAW NO. 513 - 20. ## A BYLAW OF THE VILLAGE OF HUGHENDEN IN THE PROVINCE OF ALBERTA BEING ENACTED FOR THE PURPOSE TO ADOPT A MUNICIPAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN, IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 632(1) OF THE MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT ACT. WHEREAS, Section 632 (1) of the Municipal Government Act, R.S.A. 2000, C.M-26, as amended, ("the Act") requires municipalities to adopt a municipal development plan; and WHEREAS, a Municipal Development Plan has been prepared for the Village of Hughenden based on public input, studies of land use, development and other relevant data; and WHEREAS, the foresaid Municipal Development Plan describes the way in which the future development of the Village may be carried out in an orderly and economic manner; and NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the Village of Hughenden in the Province of Alberta, duly assembled and pursuant to the authority conferred on it by the Municipal Government Act, R.S.A. 2000, C.M-26, as amended, enacts as follows: 1. The Village of Hughenden Municipal Development Plan is attached hereto as Schedule "A" to this Bylaw and is hereby adopted. 2. This Bylaw may be cited as "Village of Hughenden Municipal Development Plan." 3. This Bylaw may be amended in accordance with the Municipal Government Act, R.S.A. 2000, c. M-26, as amended. 4. Should any provision of this Bylaw be found invalid, the invalid provision shall be severed, and the remaining Bylaw shall be maintained 5. This Bylaw shall come into force upon receipt of its third and final reading. READ a first time the 21st day of May, A.D. 2020. READ a second time this 21st day of July, A.D. 2020.
