BEING A BYLAW OF VILLAGE OF HUSSAR FOR THE PURPOSE OF ADOPTING THE VILLAGE OF HUSSAR AND WHEATLAND COUNTY
ACT, REVISED STATUTES OF ALBERTA 2000, CHAPTER M-26, AS AMENDED.
INTERMUNICIPAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTIONS 230, 606, 631 AND 692 OF THE MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT
WHEREAS Section 631(1) of the Municipal Government Act, Revised Statutes of Alberta 2000, Chapter M-26 requires that two or more Councils of municipalities that have common boundaries must, by each passing a Bylaw, adopt an intermunicipal development
AND WHEREAS the Council of Village of Hussar wishes to adopt an intermunicipal development plan in consultation with Wheatland
Chapter M-26.
County to be compliant with the recent amendments to the Municipal Government Act (MGA), Revised Statutes of Alberta 2000,
AND WHEREAS the municipality must prepare a corresponding bylaw and provide for its consideration at a public hearing.
AND WHEREAS a Public Hearing was held on February 13, 2020 at the Sundowners' Senior Centre.
NOW THEREFORE under the authority and subject to the provisions of the Municipal Government Act, as amended, the Council of
Village of Hussar enacts as follows:

Council shall adopt the Village of Hussar and Wheatland County Intermunicipal Development Plan, as attached and forming

part of this bylaw.
This Bylaw comes into force when it receives third reading and is signed by the Mayor and the CAO or Designate as per the
Municipal Government Act.
- The Village of Hussar and Wheatland County Intermunicipal Development Plan comes into force when the Village of Hussar and Wheatland County give third readings to their respective bylaws.
T. FRANK MOVED First Reading of Bylaw 525-20 on February 13, 2020, this being a bylaw for the purpose of adopting the Village of
Hussar and Wheatland County Intermunicipal Development Plan in accordance with Sections 230, 606, 631 and 692 of the Municipal
Government Act, Revised Statutes of Alberta 2000, Chapter M-26, as amended.
