Cherhill Sewer Special Tax
BEING A BYLAW OF LAC STE. ANNE COUNTY, IN THE PROVINCE OF ALBERTA, UNDER THE
PROVISIONS OF SECTION 382 OF THE MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT ACT AND AMENDMENTS
THERETO:
WHEREAS, the Council of Lac Ste. Anne County deems it necessary to levy a Special Tax to cover a
portion of the capital cost of the installation of Sewage Facilities on the land fronting on any street or
lanes served or benefited by sewer facilities within the Hamlet of Cherhill.
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of Lac Ste. Anne County, in the Province of Alberta, duly assembled,
enacts as follows:
1.
That the CAO be authorized to levy a Uniform Special Capital Cost Recovery Tax against all frontage
for the Hamet of Cherhill:
Schedule "A" Hamlet of Cherhill 5,550 lin.ft. @ $0.89 = 4,939.50
2.
That the monies shall be used soley for the purpose of recovering a portion of the Capital costs to
install a new wastewater collection system and lift station. (2003 Construction)
3.
This Bylaw shall come into force January 1, 2026, and replaces Bylaw 05-2025.
READ A FIRST TIME this 26th day of March 2026.
READ A SECOND TIME this 9th day of April 2026.
READ A THIRD AND FINAL TIME this 9th day of April 2026.
