Leduc County
A BYLAW ESTABLISHING 2026 FEES AND CHARGES FOR SERVICES PROVIDED BY LEDUC COUNTY
WHEREAS
Pursuant
to
the
Municipal
Government
Act,
Revised
Statutes
of
Alberta
2000,
Chapter
M--26,
and
amendments thereto, the County provides various services and certain information to be made available to
the public;
In accordance with section 8 of the Municipal Government Act, and section 96 of the Access to Information
Act, Council may pass a bylaw establishing fees to charge for providing information and services; and
Council is desirous of revising the 2026 Fees and Charges - Road Operations schedule effective on the date of
third reading;
NOW THEREFORE
be it resolved that the Council of Leduc County, duly assembled, enacts as follows:
Read a first time this 10th day of March, 2026.
Read a second time this 10th day of March, 2026.
Read a third time with the unanimous consent of the Council Members present and finally passed this 10th
day of March, 2026.

This bylaw may be cited as the "2026 Fees and Charges Bylaw".
2.
The fees and charges shall be as detailed in Schedule "A", which
is attached to and forms part of
this bylaw.
3.
Bylaw No. 22-25 and all amendments thereto are repealed upon this bylaw coming into force.
4.
This bylaw shall take effect upon third and final reading.

1.
Leduc County collects an Alberta Safety Codes Council Levy on each safety codes permit, related inspections and variances,
which is non-refundable. This fee is calculated at 4% of the permit fee (minimum $4.50 to a maximum of $560.00).
2.
The following applicants are exempt from the first $500.00 of total cumulative County application fees for development and
safety codes permits, and subdivision approvals, in any calendar year (in accordance with Note 1 above, this exemption does not
include the Alberta Safety Codes Council Levy):
