TOWN OF MORINVILLE PROVINCE OF ALBERTA FEES AND CHARGES BYLAW BYLAW 15/2025 Page 1 Mayor CAO A BYLAW OF THE TOWN OF MORINVILLE, IN THE PROVINCE OF ALBERTA, TO REGULATE FEES AND CHARGES IN THE TOWN OF MORINVILLE. WHEREAS, the Municipal Government Act gives the Municipalities the power to enact bylaws and establish fees for licences, permits and approval; NOW THEREFORE, the Municipal Council of the Town of Morinville, Alberta, duly assembled, hereby enacts as follows. 1.0 BYLAW TITLE 1.1 This Bylaw shall be cited as the "Fees and Charges Bylaw." 2.0 APPLICATION 2.1 That the Fees, Rates, and Charges be established by this Bylaw as provided for in attached Schedules "A" - "L" and form part of this Bylaw. 2.2 That the Fees, Rates and Charges in Schedules C, D, E, F, G, J, K and L come into effect on January 1, 2026. 2.3 That the Fees, Rates and Charges in Schedules A1, B1, H1, and I1 are in effect from January 1, 2026 to July 31, 2026. 2.4 That the Fees, Rates and Charges in Schedules A2, B2, H2, and I2 come into effect on August 1, 2026. 3.0 REVIEW 3.1 That this Bylaw must be reviewed as part of the annual budgeting process. 4.0 SEVERABILITY 4.1 If any Section or parts of this Bylaw are found in any court of law to be illegal or beyond the power of Council to enact, such Section or parts shall be deemed to be severable, and all other Sections or parts of this Bylaw shall be deemed to be separate and independent therefrom and to be enacted as such.
