BYLAW 2014-08 OF THE MUNICIPAL DISTRICT OF LESSER SLAVE RIVER NO.124 Being a bylaw of the Municipal District of Lesser Slave River No. 124 in the Province ofAlberta, to establish an Intermunicipal Development Plan WHEREAS, Section 631 of the Municipal Government Act (RSA 2000, C. M-26) and amendments thereto, empowers the council to adopt an Intermunicipal Development Plan. AND WHEREAS, the Council for the Municipal District of Lesser Slave River No. 124 deems it appropriate and expedient to adopt an Intermunicipal Development Plan with the Town of Slave Lake for development policies to provide for orderly growth along our boundaries. AND WHEREAS, Section 692 of the Municipal Government Act (RSA 2000, C. M-26) with amendments, requires Council to hold a public hearing with respect to the proposed bylaw according to Section 606 of the Act, giving notice of it in accordance with subsection (2) and (5) of this section: NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Municipal District of Lesser Slave River No. 124, duly assembled, hereby adopts the Municipal District of Lesser Slave River No. 124 I Town of Slave Lake 2014 Intermunicipal Development Plan as attached to and forming part of this Bylaw as Schedule "A". This Bylaw shall come into force and effect upon signing. Bylaw 2000-15 Intermunicipal Development Plan 2000 is hereby rescinded.
