## BYLAW #483 ## BEING A BYLAW OF THE VILLAGE OF NAMPA IN THE PROVINCE OF ALBERTA TO ESTABLISH RATES AND CHARGES FOR THE PROVOSION OF WATER, SEWER SERVICES WITHIN THE VILLAGE OF NAMPA WHEREAS the Municipal Government Act R.S.A. 2000, C. m-26, as amended, grants authority to the municipality for the provisions of municipal public utilities subject to any terms, costs or charges established by the municipal Council; WHEREAS the Village of Nampa provides water, stormwater and sanitary sewer services pursuant to the Village of Nampa's Utility Service Bylaw, which Bylaw contemplates the imposition of rates, fees and charges set out in a rates bylaw; And WHEREAS Council deems it prudent to establish utility rates for water, stormwater, sewer, and solid waste services provided by the Village of Nampa; NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Village of Nampa, duly assembled, hereby enacts as follows: 1. This Bylaw may be cited as the "Utility Rate Bylaw for 2025" 2. In this Bylaw, all terms and references defined within the Villages Service Bylaw shall be used to define the same terms and references throughout this Bylaw. 3. The fees and charges payable for the Water, Stormwater, Sanitary Sewer, and Solid Waste Services shall be detailed in Schedule "A" which are attached to and form part of this Bylaw. 4. Bylaw 431 and any amendments thereto are hereby repealed. 5. If any portion of this Bylaw is declared invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, then the invalid portion shall be severed THAT this Bylaw shall come into effect on the final reading thereof.
