This is to acknowledge that additional water consumption during the summer months does not generally enter the sewer collection system. Per Bylaw 1385/24 The 2024 Water Rates, as stated within Bylaw #1381/23, Schedule "A", shall be amended to include the additional provision for an increase to regular water rates where conditions exist that Council or the Chief Administrative Officer determines that there needs to be reduced water usage, for any reason whatsoever, and the Council or the Chief Administrative Officer has imposed Level 3 - Critical Water Restriction, in accordance with Bylaw #1367/22, as follows: Residential: The over and above 45m3 water consumption rate is increased to $3.95/m3 ($1.00 increase) for any billing period where Level 3 restrictions are in place for more than 14 days. Commercial/Industrial: The over and above 45m3 water consumption rate is increased to $3.50/m3 ($0.50 increase) for any billing period where Level 3 restrictions are in place for more than 14 days.
