Village of Rosemary
In the Province of Alberta
Bylaw No. 528-26
Supplementary Assessment Tax
A Bylaw of the Village of Rosemary, in the Province of Alberta to authorize the preparation of
supplementary assessments within the Village of Rosemary for 2026.
WHEREAS under the authority of the Municipal Government Act, RSA 2000, Chapter M-26, with all
amendments thereto, a Council is authorized to require the preparation of supplementary assessments
for improvements for the purpose of imposing a tax under Part 10 in the same year.
WHEREAS the Municipal Government Act provides that this Bylaw must be passed before May 1 of the
year that the Bylaw applies.
WHEREAS the Village of Rosemary wishes to require the preparation of supplementary assessments for
improvements for the purpose of imposing a tax under Part 10.
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Village of Rosemary, in the Province of Alberta, duly assembled,
enacts as follows:
1.
This Bylaw may be cited as the "Supplementary Assessment Tax Bylaw".
2.
That a supplementary assessment shall be prepared for all improvements within the Village of
Rosemary for the year 2026.
3.
This Bylaw shall repeal Bylaw 517-25 and all amendments thereto.
READ a first time in Council this 24th day of March 2026.
READ a second time in Council this 24th day of March 2026.
READ a third time in Council and passed by unanimous consent this 24th day of March 2026.
