## VILLAGE OF RYCROFT BYLAW NO. 209-19
## DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY BYLAW
## BEING A BYLAW OF THE VILLAGE OF RYCROFT IN THE PROVINCE OF ALBERTA TO ESTABLISH A DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY.
WHEREAS Section 624(1) of the Municipal Government Act, RSA 2000, Chapter M-26 as amended, requires that a Council establish a Development Authority by bylaw;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Village of Rycroft in the Province of Alberta, duly assembled, enacts as follows:
1. A Development Authority for the Village of Rycroft is hereby established and is referred to hereafter as the "Development Authority".
2. The Development Authority shall operate under the name of Development Authority for the Village of Rycroft.
3. The position of Development Officer is hereby established and shall serve as the Development Authority for the Village of Rycroft.
4. The Development Officer shall be the Chief Administrative Officer of the Village of Rycroft.
5. The powers, duties, and functions of the Development Officer shall be as described in the Village of Rycroft Land Use Bylaw, and such additional powers as described under the Municipal Government Act.
6. Bylaw 35-95 is hereby repealed upon 3'd and final reading of this bylaw.
7. Severability: If any portion of this bylaw is declared invalid by a court of competent seemed von, chen the invalid portion must be severed and the remainder of the bylaw is

This Bylaw comes into effect upon third and final reading hereof.
