SUMMER VILLAGE OF SILVER BEACH Municipal Government Act RSA 2000 Chapter M-26 Section 353 PROPERTY TAX BYLAW BYLAW NO.2025-06 Property Tax Summer Village of Silver Beach Page 1 of 2 A BYLAW TO AUTHORIZE THE RATES OF PROPERTY TAXATION TO BE LEVIED AGAINST ASSESSABLE PROPERTY WITHIN THE SUMMER VILLAGE OF SILVER BEACH FOR THE 2025 TAXATION YEAR. WHEREAS, the Summer Village of Silver Beach (the "Summer Village") has prepared and adopted the detailed estimates of the municipal revenue and expenditures, as required, at the Council meeting held on April 14th, 2025; and WHEREAS, the estimated municipal expenditures and transfers, including the provincial requisitions for the Alberta School Foundation Fund and the Designated Industrial Requisition, as set out in the operating and capital budget for the Summer Village for 2025 total $589,129.52; and WHEREAS, the estimated municipal operating revenue, capital revenue, and transfers from all sources other than taxation is estimated at $110,433.70; and THEREFORE, the balance of $212,483.52 is to be raised by general municipal taxation, and WHEREAS, the provincial requisitions are: Alberta School Foundation Fund - Residential/Farmland $ 265,357.40 - Non-residential $ 839.20 - Machinery & Equipment $ 0.00 Designated Industrial Requisition $ 15.70 WHEREAS, the Council of the Summer Village is required each year to levy on the assessed value of all property tax rates sufficient to meet the estimated expenditures and the requisitions; and WHEREAS, the assessed value of all property in the Summer Village as shown on the assessment roll is: PROPERTY CLASS ASSESSMENT Residential $ 98,795,700 Non-residential $ 224,000 TOTAL TAXABLE ASSESSMENT $ 99,019,700 SUMMER VILLAGE OF SILVER BEACH Municipal Government Act RSA 2000 Chapter M-26 Section 353 PROPERTY TAX BYLAW BYLAW NO.2025-06 Property Tax Summer Village of Silver Beach Page 2 of 2 NOW THEREFORE under the authority of the Municipal Government Act, Chapter M-26, Revised Statutes of Alberta 2000, the Council of the Summer Village duly assembled, enacts as follows: 1.
