Page 1 of 3 Bylaw No.06-2025: Cancellation of Plan of Subdivision Town of Smoky Lake BYLAW NO. 06-2025 OF THE TOWN OF SMOKY LAKE IN THE PROVINCE OF ALBERTA A BYLAW OF THE TOWN OF SMOKY LAKE IN THE PROVINCE OF ALBERTA, FOR THE CANCELLATION OF PLAN OF SUBDIVISION WHEREAS Section 658 of the Municipal Government Act, as amended, enables that a Council may, by bylaw, order a subdivision plan cancelled, in whole or in part; AND WHEREAS, the Town of Smoky Lake is the registered owners of those parcels of land legally described as Lots 8 & 9, Block 1, Plan 1885CL. AND WHEREAS, the said owner has requested that Lots 8 & 9, Block 1, Plan 1885CL be cancelled and consolidated into one parcel; NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Town of Smoky Lake, in the Province of Alberta, duly assembled, enacts as follows: Cancellation of Plan of Subdivision 1. That the lands described as Lot 8, Block 1, Plan 1885CL and Lot 9, Block 1, Plan 1885CL as shown on Schedule "A" be cancelled from the plan of subdivision record. 2. That the cancelled lands be consolidated and the Registrar of Land Titles issue a new certificate of title for the land described as: Lot 8A, Block 1, Plan 1885CL. EFFECTIVE DATE 3. This Bylaw shall come into force and effect on third and final reading. READ a FIRST time this 27th Day of January 2025. READ a SECOND time this 27th Day of January 2025.
