Bylaw 43-2025 BYLAW 43-2025 2026 FEES, RATES, AND CHARGES BYLAW The Municipal Government Act, RSA 2000, c M-26 (the "MGA") provides that a municipality may pass bylaws for municipal purposes respecting services, licences, permits, approvals, and utility services provided by the municipality; and Section 8 of the MGA allows a municipality to set fees for licences, permits, approvals, and utility services provided by the municipality; Council enacts: Fees for Services 1 Schedule A to this bylaw sets out the fees for the services, licences, permits, approvals, and utility services provided by Strathcona County. Fee Transition Date 2 Where the Year of Implementation set out in Schedule A includes a start date which is later than the date this bylaw comes into effect, the fee set out in bylaw 38- 2024 as amended is adopted by this bylaw and will continue to apply until the Effective Date for such fee set out in this bylaw. 3 Where there is a conflict in any fee between this bylaw and bylaw 38-2024 as amended, the fee set out in this bylaw applies. Repeal Effective Date 4 Bylaw 38-2024 as amended is repealed on December 31, 2025. 5 This Bylaw comes into effect on January 1, 2026.
