## BYLAW 2-2017
## COYNAW TO ESTABLISH A TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM FOR STRATHCONA
## WHEREAS:
Section 33 of the Highways Development and Protection Act, SA 2004, c. H-8.5, requires a Council to establish a transportation system within the municipality;
Strathcona County has prepared an "Integrated Transportation Master Plan (2012)", being a comprehensive transportation study and report on the development of an integrated transportation system designed to serve the needs of Strathcona County;
## THE COUNCIL OF STRATHCONA COUNTY THEREFORE ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. This Bylaw may be referred to as the "Strathcona County Transportation Systems Bylaw".
2. A transportation system for Strathcona County is established consisting of the classifications established in the schedules which are attached to and form part of this Bylaw:
- a) Schedule "A-Urban"; Strathcona County Transportation System Bylaw Urban Service Area (West of Highway 21);
- b) Schedule "A-Rural"; Strathcona County Transportation System Bylaw - Rural Service Area (including undeveloped Urban Service Area East of Highway 21);
5. ) Schway 8": Physial Descration or utan Serice rea Rosways (west of
- d) Schedule "C"; Physical Description of Rural Service Area Roadways (including undeveloped Urban Service Area east of Highway 21; and
- e) Schedule "D"; Physical Description of Freeways.
3. The transportation system is established subject to the availability of the financial resources necessary for the construction and maintenance of any portions of the transportation system.

4. Bylaw 75-2002 and all amendments thereto are repealed.
5. This Bylaw comes into force on the date it is approved by the Minister.
