Bylaw 50-2025 BYLAW 50-2025 ROAD CLOSURE BYLAW Section 22 of the Municipal Government Act, RSA 2000, c M-26, as amended, (the "MGA") authorizes Council, by bylaw, to close a road; and The purpose of this Bylaw is to close public travel and create title to portions of a public road in Strathcona County in accordance with the MGA; The lands hereafter described are no longer required for public travel; and An application has been made to the Council to have the road closed to create a fee simple title interest in the name of Strathcona County; and Notice of the intention of Council to pass a bylaw has been given through advertising in accordance with Section 606 of the MGA. Council enacts: 1 To close to public travel for the purpose of creating title to the following described road, subject to rights of access granted by other legislation, in accordance with the MGA: (a) approximately 0.201 hectares (0.497 acres) of road within Plan 842 1442, excepting thereout all mines and minerals, contained within Area A, Plan ________.
