ROAD CLOSURE BYLAW- ROAD PLAN 5818KS
LONG LAKE BLOCK WELLS
A Bylaw of Thorhild County in the Province of Alberta for the purpose of closing
public travel and creating titles to, portions of a public municipal road in
accordance with Section 22 of the Municipal Government Act, Chapter M26.1,
Revised Statutes of Alberta 2000, as amended.
WHEREAS the lands hereafter described are no longer required for public travel, and
WHEREAS application has been made to Council to have the municipal road closed, and
WHEREAS the Council ofThorhiId County deems it expedient to provide for a bylaw for
the purpose of closing to public travel certain roads, or portions thereof, situated in the
said municipality, and therefore disposing of same, and
WHEREAS notice of the intention of Council to pass a bylaw has been given in
accordance with Section 606 of the Municipal Government Act, RSA 2000, c.M-26, and
WHEREAS a person or that person's agent who claims to be affected prejudicially by
bylaw has been given opportunity to be heard by Council.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of Thorhild County in the
Province of Alberta does hereby close to public travel for the purpose of creating titles to
portions of a public municipal road, subject to rights of access granted by other legislation:
Schedules "A" though "N", containing 0.014 hectares (0.14 acres) more or less, excepting
thereout all mines and minerals form part of this Bylaw.
This Bylaw shall come into force and effect upon receiving third and final reading and
having been signed by the Reeve and Chief Administrative Officer.
