## TOWN OF TROCHU BYLAW NO. 2023-02 ## BEING A BYLAW IN THE TOWN OF TROCHU IN THE PROVINCE OF ALBERTA TO AMEND BYLAW NO 2022-05, TROCHU ARBORETUM &amp; DR. HAY HOUSE MUNICIPAL HISTORIC RESOURCE DESIGNATION WHEREAS pursuant to the provision of Section 639 of the Municipal Government Act, RSA 2000, Chapter M-26, the Council of the Town of Trochu, in the Province of Alberta (hereinafter called the Council), has adopted Bylaw No. 2022-05, Trochu Arboretum &amp; Dr. Hay House Municipal Historic Resource Designation. AND WHEREAS the Council, deems it necessary and desirable to amend Bylaw No. 2022-05, Trochu Arboretum &amp; Dr. Hay House Municipal Historic Resource Designation; and NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Town of Trochu, duly assembled, hereby enacts as follows: 1. In Part 1.0, Buildings Designated As a Municipal Resource, remove Subsection 1.1: "The building known as the Dr. Hay House, specifically described in Schedule "A" which is located at the Trochu Arboretum, 622 North Road, Trochu, AB is designated as a Municipal Historic Resource" ## And replace with the following new Subsection 1.1: "The building known as the Dr. Hay House, specifically described in Schedule "A" which is located at the Trochu Arboretum, 622 North Road, Trochu, AB, with the Legal Land Description of Meridian 4, Range 23, Township 33, Section 17, NE, is designated as a Municipal Historic Resource" 2. This Bylaw takes effect on the date of the third and final reading. READ A FIRST TIME THIS 8TH DAY OF MAY, 2023. READ A SECOND TIME THIS 8TH DAY OF MAY, 2023.
