BYLAW NO.2020-691
A BYLAW TO AMEND BYLAW 92.478
Whereas Bylaw 92-478 being a bylaw of the Town of Viking, in the Province of Alberta to
Provide for the control , care and regulating the use of Viking Cemetery is hereby amended
Whereas, The Town of Viking wished to Amend Bylaw 92-478 to include an appropriate casket
vault is required for all interments that use a casket.
Therefore, Bylaw 92-478 Viking Cemetery, be amended to include:
Section 3'1:
Burial Receptacle: All casket burials in the Viking Cemetery requires the use
of an approved vault. The base of the vault will be set at a six-foot depth to allow for at least three
feet of soil above of the top of the lid of the vault.
