TOWN OFVIKING
Bytaw No.2024-640
Being a bytaw for the purposes of amending the Town of Viking MunicipaI Devetopment Plan (Bytaw No. 2012-
641) and Land Use Bylaw (Bytaw No. 2012-640) in order to facititate the luture subdivision and residential use
of a portion of an institutional use site in the Town of Viking.
WHEREAS the Council of Town of Viking has passed Bytaws pursuant to Part 17 of the Municipat Government Act,
R.S.A. 2000, c. M-26, known as the Town of Viking Municipat Devetopment Ptan (Bytaw No. 201 2-641) and Land
Use Bytaw (Bytaw No. 2012-640) for the purposes of guiding the use and devetopment of tand and buitdings within
Town of Viking;
AND WHEREAS and pursuant to Part 17, Section 692 of the Municipa[ Government Act, the Councit of a
municipatity is authorized to amend its MunicipaI Devetopment Ptan and Land Use Bytaw;
AND WHEREAS Section 692 of the Municipal Government Act, requires the Councit of a municipatity to hotd a
pubtic hearing and advertise such a Bytaw in accordance with Section 606 of the Act;
NOW THEREFORE, the Councit of Town of Viking in the Province of Atberta duty assembted and under the
authority of the Municipat Government Act hereby enacts the fottowing:

That the Town of Viking Municipat Devetopment Ptan (Bytaw No. 201 2-641, as amended) be amended as
follows:
a. Map 1 - Future Land Use in the Town of Viking Municipat Devetopment Ptan be revised in accordance
with the map inctuded as Schedute A to this bytaw.
2. That the Town of Viking Land Use Bytaw (No. 201 2-640, as amended) be amended as fottows:
a. Schedute A - Land Use District Map in the Town of Viking Land Use Bytaw be revised in accordance
with the map inctuded as Schedute B to this Bytaw.

These bytaws may be amended by Bytaw in accordance with the Municipal GovernmentAct, R.S.A. 2000,
c. M-26, as amended.
Shoutd any provision of this Bytaw be found invalid, the invatid provision shatl be severed and the remaining
Bytaw shal,t be maintained.

This Bytaw shatl come into force upon receipt of its third and finat reading
