## TOWN OF WAINWRIGHT BYLAW NO. 2008-06 A Bylaw of the Town of Wainwright to designate the Petroleum Park Pump Jack as a Municipal Historic Resource. WHEREAS under Section 26 of the Historical Resources Act, Revised Statutes of Alberta, Chapter H-9 and amendments thereto, permits Council to designate any historic resource within the Town of Wainwright, whose preservation Council considers to be in the public interest, together with any land in or on which it is located as a Municipal Historic Resource; AND WHEREAS the preservation of the Petroleum Park Pump Jack in the Town of Wainwright appears to be in the public interest; AND WHEREAS the owners of the Petroleum Park Pump Jack have agreed to waive compensation now and in the future; NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Town of Wainwright, in the Province of Alberta, duly assembled, enacts as follows: 1. That the Petroleum Park Pump Jack located on Block Y Plan 890 AJ in the Town of Wainwright is hereby designated a Municipal Historic Resource. 2.
