## TOWN OF WAINWRIGHT BYLAW NO. 2011-08
A BYLAW OF THE TOWN OF WAINWRIGHT TO DESIGNATE THE CARSELL BUILDING AS A MUNICIPAL HISTORIC RESOURCE.
WHEREAS under Section 26 of the Historical Resources Act, Revised Statutes of Alberta, Chapter H-9 and amendments thereto, permits Council to designate any historic resource within the Town of Wainwright, whose preservation Council considers to be in the public interest, together with any land in or on which it is located as a Municipal Historic
AND WHEREAS the preservation of the Carsell Building in the Town of Wainwright appears to be in the public interest;
AND WHEREAS the owner of the Carsell Building has agreed to waive compensation now and in the future;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Town of Wainwright, in the Province of Alberta, duly assembled, enacts as follows:
1. That the Carsell Building located on Lot 5 excepting thereout the north easterly twenty five (25) feet in uniform width throughout Block 15 Plan 6445 V in the Town of Wainwright is hereby designated a Municipal Historic Resource.
2. This bylaw will come into full force and effect upon third (39) and final reading.
