## TOWN OF WAINWRIGHT BYLAW NO. 2010-04 A Bylaw of the Town of Wainwright to designate the Watson/Mackenzie House as a Municipal Historic Resource. WHEREAS under Section 26 of the Historical Resources Act, Revised Statutes of Alberta, Chapter H-9 and amendments thereto, permits Council to designate any historic resource within the Town of Wainwright, whose preservation Council considers to be in the public interest, together with any land in or on which it is located as a Municipal Historic Resource; AND WHEREAS the preservation of the Watson/Mackenzie House in the Town of Wainwright appears to be in the public interest; AND WHEREAS the owners of the Watson/Mackenzie House have agreed to waive compensation now and in the future; NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Town of Wainwright, in the Province of Alberta, duly assembled, enacts as follows: - 25 feet of lot 18 and Wainwright is hereby designated a Municipal Historic Resource. 2. This bylaw will come into full force and effect upon third (3rd) and final reading.
