<!-- image --> <!-- image --> <!-- image --> ## TOWN OF WAINWRIGHT BYLAW 2013-01 A BYLAW OF THE TOWN OF WAINWRIGHT TO DESIGNATE THE MEMORIAL CLOCK TOWER (200 - 10T STREET) AS A MUNICIPAL HISTORIC RESOURCE. WHEREAS under section 26 of the Historical Resources Act, Revised Statutes of Alberta, Chapter H-9 and amendments thereto, permits Council to designate any historic resource within the Town of Wainwright, whose preservation Council considers to be in the public interest, together with any land in or on which it is located as a Municipal Historical AND WHEREAS the preservation of the Memorial Clock Tower in the Town of Wainwright appears to be in the public interest; AND WHEREAS the owners of the Memorial Clock Tower have agreed to waive compensation now and in the future; NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Town of Wainwright, in the Province of Alberta, duly assembled, enacts as follows: 1. That the Memorial Clock Tower located on Area A Plan 122 0524 in the Town of Wainwright (200 - 10"* Street) is hereby designated a Municipal Historic Resource. 2. This bylaw will come into full force and effect upon the third (3º) and final reading. READ a First Time in Council this 16* day of April A.D., 2013.
