## Bylaw No. 124/2021 Intermunicipal Development Plan Bylaw
A BYLAW OF THE SUMMER VILLAGE OF WEST BAPTISTE IN THE PROVINCE OF ALBERTA TO ADOPT AN INTERMUNICIPAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN.
WHEREAS the Municipal Government Act, R.S.A. 2000, c. M-26, as amended, ("the Act") enables municipalities to adopt an intermunicipal development plan;
AND WHEREAS an Intermunicipal Development Plan has been prepared for Athabasca County and the Summer Villages of South Baptiste, Sunset Beach, West Baptiste, and Whispering Hills based on public input, studies of land use, development and other relevant data;
AND WHEREAS, the foresaid Intermunicipal Development Plan describes the way in which the future development within the Plan Area may be carried out in an orderly and economic manner; and
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Summer Village of West Baptiste in the Province of Alberta duly assembled and pursuant to the authority conferred on it by the Municipal Government Act, R.S.A. 2000, c. M-26, as amended, enacts as follows:
1. The Baptiste Lake Intermunicipal Development Plan attached hereto as Schedule "A" to this Bylaw is hereby adopted.
2. This Bylaw may be cited as " Baptiste Lake Intermunicipal Development Plan."
3. This Bylaw may be amended by Bylaw in accordance with the Municipal Government Act, R.S.A. 2000, c. M-26, as amended.
4. Should any provision of this Bylaw be found invalid, the invalid provision shall be severed and the remaining Bylaw shall be maintained.
5. This Bylaw shall come into force upon receipt of its third and final reading.
