Permit Application REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT - New Dwellings
Where a development permit is made by a Community Association, fees may be waived at the discretion of Council.
When it is confirmed that development has commenced or a business is operating without a valid Development Permit having been issued, the application fee is double the fee prescribed within.
The Applicant will be responsible for 50% of the costs incurred by the County for the review of any documentation or reports by 3rd party legal and engineering consultants. If changes are made to the
documents or reports after an approval has been issued by the Approving Authority.
All other uses not listed shall be at the discretion of the Development Officer and be no less than $200.00.
For new development requiring connection to water and/or sewer in a hamlet, a connection fee of $4000.00 will be required for each lot. In addition, a water meter fee and refundable deposit will also apply.
Wheatland County has the ability to require additional fees or charge an applicant for costs incurred by the County related to Planning & Development applications. (e.g.. Advertising, Hall Rental).
