SUMMER VILLAGE OF WHITE SANDS
In the Province of Alberta
Bylaw #222 - 26
"A Bylaw to Amend Fees and Services Bylaw 213-25"
WHEREAS pursuant to the Municipal Government Act, Chapter M.26 Revised Statutes of
Alberta, 2000, as amended, authorizes a municipality to pass bylaws respecting fees, rates, and
charges for the provision of municipal services and the use of municipal property;
AND WHEREAS, Council for the Summer Village of White Sands deems it necessary and
desirable to amend Schedule "A" of Fees & Services Bylaw 213-25;
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of the Summer Village of White Sands, duly assembled, enacts
the following:
1. This Bylaw may be cited as the "Fees & Services Bylaw Amendment 222-26;
2. Amendments to Schedule "A" of Bylaw 213-25
2.1 Scheule "A" of Bylaw 21-25 is hereby amended and replaced with Schedule "A"
attached to and forming pat of this bylaw.
3. Severability
If any provision of this bylaw is declared invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in
full force and effect.
4. This Bylaw shall come into effect upon third and final reading.

Outstanding Accounts
Receivable:
An interest charge of two per cent (2%) per month shall be
imposed on all accounts receivables that remain unpaid for
thirty (30) days from the date of the invoice and the interest
rate shall not be compounded.
For accounts that are not transferable to the corresponding
tax roll, the Chief Administrative Officer or their designate
may obtain a collection agency to recover unpaid accounts
after ninety (90) days.
Returned payments shall be charged back to the appropriate
account. Any service charges, as outlined in the current Fees
and Service Bylaw shall be charged to the account.
Performance Bonds are not subject to this penalty.
Photocopying or Printing:
$0.50 per page
Hall Event Rentals
Hourly Rate: $30 per hour
*must include set-up and clean-up times.
Day Rate: $175.00
Weekend Rate (Friday 12pm to Sunday 4pm): $400.00
Additional Days to Decorate or Store Supplies (added onto existing
weekend rental only): $100.00 per day.
Security Deposit: $250.00

*Reimbursement subject to inspection. Returned within 10

Alberta Safety Codes Permit Fees
All permits issued by the Safety Codes Agency under contract with the Summer Village of White Sands
are subject to a separate fee remitted to the Alberta Safety Codes Council on behalf of the Summer
Village of White Sands. These fees are not included in attached Schedule A and will be levied in addition
to municipal permit fees and administered by the contracted accredited safety code agency. These
include Building, Electrical, Plumbing, Natural Gas, Private Sewage, etc.
