District of Clearwater District of Clearwater Fees and Charges Bylaw No. 109, 2013 Effective Date - September 3, 2013 Consolidated for Convenience Only This is a consolidated version of the parent bylaw that incorporates changes made pursuant to the following amendment bylaws: Amendment Bylaw Effective Date Bylaw No. 121, 2014 May 6, 2014 Bylaw No. 139, 2015 April 21, 2015 Bylaw No. 152, 2016 May 3, 2016 Bylaw No. 162, 2017 May 2, 2017 This consolidation is for convenience and reference purposes only. Persons making use of this consolidated version of Bylaw No. 109 are advised that it is not a legal document. For the purposes of interpreting and applying the law, the original Bylaw No. 109 and all amending bylaws must be consulted. DISTRICT OF CLEARWATER BYLAW NO. 109, 2013 A BYLAW TO ESTABLISH FEES AND CHARGES FOR SERVICES AND INFORMATION WHEREAS the Council of the District of Clearwater deems it expedient to provide for fees and services and information; AND WHEREAS Section 194 of the Community Charter authorizes municipalities by bylaw to impose fees in respect of a service of the municipality or provision of information; AND WHEREAS Council deems it necessary and desirable to exercise the authority provided by the Community Charter to cover costs of providing services and information; NOW THEREFORE the Council of the District of Clearwater, in open meeting assembled, hereby enacts as follows: 1. CITATION 1.1. This bylaw may be cited as the "District of Clearwater Fees and Charges Bylaw No, 109 2013". 2. PURPOSE 2.1 The District of Clearwater imposes fees for the provision of services and information as specified in Schedules "A" to "D" inclusive. Schedule "A" Requests under the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act Schedule "B" Administration, Finance and Other Various Fees Schedule "C" North Thompson Sportsplex Schedule "D" Capostinsky Ball Park 2.2. Fees or charges imposed under this Bylaw for the provision of services or information apply instead of fees or charges imposed under other bylaws for the same services or information. 2.3. This Bylaw shall take effect on the date of its adoption by Council. 3. SEVERABILITY 3.1 If any portion of this Bylaw is held invalid by a Court of competent jurisdiction, then that invalid portion shall be severed and the remainder of this Bylaw shall be deemed to have been adopted without the severed portion. This is a clean-up fee and any money not used will be returned. If wanted on the Friday night - $12.25 per diamond. Advertising Sign Rental $113.50 per season. * Other - Concerts, Jamborees, etc. 1* Covered Grandstand and Ball Park 2* Open Grandstand Ball Park ♦ Taxes will be added where applicable - Every team is required to groom the field before using. Failure to do so could result in loss of Diamond privileges. - All charges must be paid prior to the booked event and the user form signed. - Any activity which might damage the premises will not be allowed. - Each team will be held responsible for damage or loss of District of Clearwater equipment resulting from abuse or carelessness.
