A bylaw to impose
Sewer User Fees for 2020-2021
WHEREAS Section 194 (1) of the Community Charl.'erallows Council, 'bybylaw,to 'i"mpose»'f'

payable in respect of funding the Sewer Services.
NOW THEREFORE
the Municipal Council of the District of Clean/vater, Province of'British
Columbia in open meeting assembled enacts as follows:

CITATION
1.1.
This Bylaw may be cited as "District of Clean/vater Sewer User Fees for 2020-2021
Bylaw No. 218, 2019."
2.
PURPOSE
2.1
A bylaw ?xing sewer user fees and other charges
payable to the District of
Clean/vater and the terms of payment thereof and providing for a percentage
addition to encourage prompt payment thereof.
2.2
The user fees are hereby ?xed and made payable by all owners of occupied
premises
in the Districtof Clearvvater to which sewer disposal is available from the
works of the Districtof Clean/vater. Refer to the attached Schedules A and B for
2020 and 2021.
2.3
The aforesaid user fees shall be due and payable thirty (30) days after billingdate.
and any user fees remaining unpaid after the said date shall have added a ten
percent (10%) addition thereof.

SEVERABILITY
3.1
If any portion of this Bylaw is held invalid by a Court of competent jurisdiction, then
that
invalid portion shall be severed,
and the remainder
of this Bylaw shall be
deemed to have been adopted without the severed
portion.
