THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF DAWSON CREEK
BYLAW NO. 3932
A Bylaw of The Corporation of the City of Dawson Creek
to establish miscellaneous fees and charges.
WHEREAS, the Community Charter, Division 2, Section 194 (1) states that Council may, by bylaw, impose a
fee payable in respect of (a) all or part of a service of the municipality, therefore, Council of the Corporation
of the City of Dawson Creek, in open meeting assembled, hereby ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1.
The fees and charges set out in Schedules 'A' through 'W', are hereby imposed and will be adjusted
on an annual basis in accordance with the City of Dawson Creek Consumer Price Index Policy, with
the following exemptions:
a.
The annual CPI increase will not apply to the following:
i.
Any fee or charge identified as 'cost' or 'cost plus 10%'
ii.
Any fee or charge identified as a 'deposit'.
iii.
Any fee or charge identified as 'no charge' or 'N/C'.
iv.
BC Transit Fees.
2.
This Bylaw may be cited for all purposes as "CITY OF DAWSON CREEK FEES AND CHARGES BYLAW
NO. 3932, 2007".
3.
This bylaw shall take effect upon adoption by the affirmative vote of a majority of Council present
at the meeting at which the vote is taken.
