A Bylaw to Amend 'Parcel Tax Imposition
Bylaw No. 2279, 2006'
The Municipal Council of the City of Kimberley, in open meeting assembled, ENACTS AS
FOLLOWS:

This bylaw may be cited for all purposes as "Bylaw No. 2804, City of Kimberley Parcel
Tax Imposition Bylaw No. 2279, 2006, Amendment No. 14, 2026".

Parcel Tax Imposition Bylaw No. 2279, 2006 is amended as follows:

Section 6 is amended by striking out "$215.73" and inserting "$208.42".

Except as otherwise provided, words and phrases used in this Bylaw willbe interpreted
consistently with the Community Charter and the Interpretation Act. A reference to a
statute inthis Bylaw refers to a statute of the Province of British Columbia, and a
reference to any statute or bylaw refers to that enactment as may be amended or
replaced from time to time. Recitals and headings are for convenient reference and must
not be construed as de?ning or limitingthe scope or intent of the content. Ifany section,
subsection, paragraph, subparagraph or clause ofthis bylaw is for any reason held
invalidby the decision of a Court of competent jurisdiction, then the invalid portion shall
be severed and the severance shall not affect the validity of the remainder of the bylaw.

Adopted this this 27th day of April,2026.
