# Zoning Bylaw
The principal tool local government uses to regulate land use is a zoning bylaw.
Zoning Bylaw No. 2500 applies to the entirety of the Township and provides information such as permitted uses, lot coverage, and building restrictions.
Zoning may vary from property to property.
## Helpful hints
Refer to Administration Section 100 for the following general zoning provisions:
* Throughout the Zoning Bylaw, words that are *italicized* are **defined** in Section 102.
* Section 104.3 for **accessory home occupations**
* Section 107 for **parking** requirements.
* Section 110 for minimum **subdivision requirements** pertaining to lot area, frontage, and depth.
* Section 111 for **landscape** requirements.
Each zone provides specific lot coverage and building restrictions. Please contact [email protected] for building related inquires.
