It is the responsibility of the person using this consolidation to ensure that it accurately reflects current bylaw provisions CITY OF MERRITT BYLAW 2386 A BYLAW TO AUTHORIZE THE CHARGING OF FEES FOR VARIOUS MUNICIPAL SERVICES The Municipal Council for the City of Merritt in open meeting assembled, enacts as follows: Citation 1. This Bylaw shall be cited as "CITY OF MERRITT FEES AND CHARGES BYLAW NO. 2386, 2024". Repeal 2. The "CITY OF MERRITT FEES AND CHARGES BYLAW NO. 2358, 2024" and all amendments thereto is hereby REPEALED. Details 3. Fees charged by the City of Merritt for applications received, services rendered and goods supplied shall be in accordance with requirements of the following schedules: SCHEDULE "A": WATERWORKS RATES AND CHARGES "B": SANITARY SEWER RATES AND CHARGES "C": SOLID WASTE FEES AND CHARGES "D": CEMETERY FEE SCHEDULE "E": PERMIT AND CERTIFICATE FEES "F": PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT FEES AND CHARGES "G": AIRPORT FEES AND CHARGES SCHEDULE "H": CLAYBANKS RV PARK RATES SCHEDULE "I": COMMUNITY SERVICE FEES AND CHARGES SCHEDULE "J": PARK AND FIELD FEES AND CHARGES SCHEDULE "K": CIVIC CENTRE FEES AND CHARGES "L": COMPOST SALES FEE SCHEDULE "M": ANIMAL CONTROL LICENCES, FEES AND CHARGES "N": ADMINISTRATIVE FEES AND CHARGES "O": RCMP ADMINISTRATIVE FEES AND CHARGES "P": FIRE AND RESCUE SERVICES FEES AND CHARGES "Q": OTHER BYLAW ENFORCEMENT FEES which schedules are attached to and form part of this Bylaw. Effective Date 4. The effective date of this bylaw is January 1, 2025.
